Kings Bet and BETnSport among East Africa’s first operators to benefit from Betting on Virtual Sports.
Kiron Interactive and Vermantia have launched Virtual Games TV with Kings Bet and BETnSport, in Uganda.
The roll-out, with betting shop operators Kings Bet and BETnSPORT, follows a similar deal earlier this month to provide the virtual service to Nairabet, Nigeria’s leading retailer.
The premium service will showcase their market-leading portfolio, which now includes among other sports horses, dogs, football, trotting, motor-racing and cycling. Number games – including Keno – will follow later this year. All games currently feature human commentary.
The service will be launched in 130 shops in the initial phase, rising to 500 by the end of 2015.
Kings Bet, Uganda’s largest bookmaker, operates eight separate retail betting brands in the country.
